Long standing experience in international programs such as Airbus A320 family, A400M, A380 and A350XWB, C-27J, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), Eurofighter Typhoon, NH-90 and all AgustaWestland helicopters including EH101, and in parallel strong R&D investments enable SIRIO PANEL to provide tailored solutions and custom made products focused to customer satisfaction.

 

 

SIRIO PANEL was founded in 1977 by Graziano Forzieri (today he is the Managing Director as well as a shareholder of the Company) to manufacture electroluminescent information panels and lamps. Since the very beginning the mission was to develop innovative products and enlarge the range of products. The first contracts secured by the company were the ATR42/72 and the Airbus A320 family for the commercial aviation and the Eurofighter Typhoon for the military aviation.

The aviation and avionics business need to be supported by high technologies and continuous investments. That’s why in 1991, Mr. Forzieri encouraged Marconi (today SELEX Communications) to purchase the majority of SIRIO PANEL shares. The technical, financial and organizational support provided by the strong mother company, in parallel with the traditional aptitudes of flexibility and innovation enabled SIRIO PANEL to grow up constantly, developing patented solutions and securing contracts for AgustaWestland helicopters, for the C-27J and for the NH90 program.

Today SIRIO PANEL with the support of Finmeccanica is a recognized technology leader acting worldwide and able to support many of the most advanced programs, including the Lockheed Martin Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) and Airbus A400M and A350XWB providing integrated control panels systems and lighting.
